Imagine Bamboo-Rattan Made Car

credits to the respective owner
Have you ever imagined riding a car made out of wood? More specifically made out of Bamboo and Rattan? You can imagine that happening in the near future, if manufacturers approve this design.

Kenneth Cobonpue's Phoenix (image on the side) is a concept car made out of Bamboo and Rattan by the mentioned Filipino Furniture Designer.

Dubbed as a "sleek bird posed to take flight." "It has a (vertebra) or spine that runs to the rear where it forms into a splay of rattan bundled with LED (Light Emitting Diode) rods to emit light; that's the tail light. The rear is also the space for the car engine."

The design took month of designing and 10 days of building this sleek automobile. Featured mostly by car enthusiasts, online news agencies, and other tech geeks, surely this will catch the attention of the manufacturers.

A car made out of Bamboo and Rattan, a concept raw in nature but rich in design and sustainability. Surely Filipino will take pride in this piece of art.
